![]() Having moved away from the less-than-impressive Resident Evil 5 and 6, Biohazard feels fresh, and is absolutely terrifying. I can’t begin to describe the relief I felt when I made my way through Biohazard for the first time. The third contender that I must make mention to is Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Resident Evil is one of the founding fathers of horror games. The original Resident Evil game, and its successor, are arguably some of the founding fathers of the survival horror genre as we know it today. I can’t choose a single Resident Evil game for this list, so I’m going to make mention of a few for different reasons.īoth Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 are horror heroes to this day, and the remakes of each certainly helped immortalise and amplify the outstanding architecture and endless gore they possess, while still remaining faithful to the original games. I also think monsters and aliens are kinda cool – and that's why horror games, in particular, rule: they can combine all of the above in an interactive, entertaining way. I’ve also realised that I don’t particularly like being scared, but I do really admire how horror games can make you feel so much at once when they’re done right. Resident Evil is one of the first games I remember, and the countless late nights I had binging horror movies with my dad have granted me an affectionate affinity towards horror as a genre. After this time if you wish for your child to continue with milk, then you will need to pay for it by visiting Children entitled to free school meals continue with the option of free milk.Not the scariest of Resident Evil games, but still a horrifying time, Resident Evil 4 is currently being remade. All children are entitled to request free milk up until their 5th birthday. Fruit and vegetable snacks are offered for free at morning break. Please make sure your child has a named water bottle at school, which is sent home to be cleaned each day. Please note that we are a NUT FREE school. If your child would rather have a packed lunch please ensure that it is healthy and well-balanced and that there are no fizzy drinks, chocolate or sweets. Menus will be shared with parents via School Ping. They need to let their teacher know as the register is taken. Children can choose on the day if they would prefer a school meal or packed lunch. The kitchen can cater for all allergies and special dietary requirements. The children can choose from a meat or vegetarian option every day. Children will need a bag each day, and Elm Grove book bags can be purchased from the school. Our school uniform colours are white, grey and dark green. All parents will receive an invitation to CLASS DOJO soon by the office team. ( exact dates and timings will be sent to you when classes have been allocated and arrangements confirmed via Class Dojo and School ping nearer the time). ![]() All reception children will attend school all day FRIDAY 9th Sept 2022, pick up at the end of the day. All reception children will attend school THURSDAY 8th Sept and stay for LUNCH, pick up at 1:00 pm. All reception children will attend school WEDNESDAY 7th Sept for HALF a day, pick up at 12:00. Your child will come to school for a HALF day on MONDAY 5th SEPt or TUESDAY 6th Sept. We will have lovely activities set up in our OUTSIDE learning area and you can chat to Reception class teachers and staff about your child and ask questions about school life. There will be opportunities to look at the classrooms, the corridors and pegs, the toilets and where your child’s drawer will be. ‘Stay and plays’ will be taking place on MONDAY 4th JULY, TUESDAY 5th JULY, MONDAY 11th JULY and TUESDAY 12th JULY at 3:45 – 4:30 pm.
